UI/UX Design
Master the art of user-centered design and craft engaging interfaces.
Software Development
Learn the skills to create innovative software solutions and solve real-world problems.
The program is divided into two phases, each lasting three months:
Phase 1
Phase 1: Focuses on building a strong foundation in your chosen path.
Phase 2
Teaches you how to implement your learnings using industry-standard frameworks. Additionally, this phase incorporates training on Emotional Intelligence (EQ) and Communication Skills.

Program Structure
The program follows this structure:

Application:
A non-refundable application fee of $20/ N20,000 applies. Submitting an application does not guarantee a spot in the program.

Selection:
Shortlisted candidates will be notified and invited to pay the Phase 1 program fee of N250,000.

Squad Formation:
Upon successful payment, you will be placed in a squad of 20 or less fellow trainees within your chosen track.

Welcome Meeting:
A virtual welcome meeting will introduce you to your Squad Leader, their Crew (support team), and the program agenda. This is a fantastic opportunity to ask questions and get acquainted with your fellow trainees.

Squad Building:
During the welcome meeting, your squad will have the opportunity to name yourselves and choose a favorite artist (based on a shortlist derived from your application preferences).

Communication Channels:
You will be invited to a dedicated Slack channel for your squad.

Weekly Activities:
Every Monday by 9 am WAT, your squad will receive reading assignments and weekly challenges through the Slack channel.

Squad Support Sessions:
Every Saturday, from 6-8 pm, you will have a dedicated session with your Squad Leader and Crew to address any challenges faced during the week. A squad member will kick off the session by playing music from your chosen artist.

Phase 2 Project:
During Phase 2, you will undertake an individual project to solidify your learnings from Phase 1.
Time Commitment:
The program requires a dedicated time investment of 12 hours weekly.

Do I need any technical experience to join the program?
No, this program is designed for individuals without any technical experience.

What happens after program completion?
Following successful program completion, we strongly recommend a six-month internship in your chosen field to gain practical experience.
Can I work while participating in the program?
The program requires 12 hours of dedicated commitment weekly. While managing work alongside the program is possible, careful time management is crucial.
Does the program guarantee an internship?
No, the program does not guarantee an internship. However, top-performing trainees will have the first opportunity to join any available internship programs at PlacidCode Labs.
